Bro Dean Patton

Dean and Laura have two children, Brooke and Braxton, and one grandchild, Graham.  Brooke is a lab scientist at Park West Hospital.  Braxton is a student at Tennessee Tech University studying Environmental Biology. Graham is Laura’s full-time job. 

 

Dean came to Clarkrange Baptist in the fall of 1999, previously serving as Sunday School teacher, youth director, and assistant to the pastor at Friend’s Chapel Baptist Church of Morgan County, Tn.  His ministry began at Liberty Baptist Church of Crossville, Tn where he served as youth director.  

 

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education with minors in Biology and General Science as well as a Master’s degree in Instructional Leadership from Tennessee Technological University.  He holds an additional Master’s degree in Theological Studies from Liberty University.

 

He is a bi-vocational pastor, working as a teacher in Cumberland County since 1992.  During that time, he served on several coaching staffs and hopes he has helped at least some of the Francis’s of this world find the truth.  He has had the great privilege of baptizing a few of his players along the way.  He currently serves as Cumberland County’s Athletic Director.
